Volunteer

"Who am I?  Is there a plan for my life?  Am I made for a larger purpose?"  These are questions that every one of us asks from time to time.  At Grace, you can be a part of something bigger than yourself.

There are several volunteering opportunities at Grace that you can check out.  You can set up a time to visit a ministry before making any commitments to join a team. 

• Browse the different areas below and click the link to learn more about the specific roles in that area.  Pick one that interests you to start the process.
• Click "Volunteer" and someone from that team will contact you with the rest of the details.  (If you don't already have a MyGraceChurch account, you'll be asked to create one so we'll know who you are.)
• If, after trying it, you love it and feel excited about serving in that capacity, we will gladly sign you up.  But if you decide that particular area is not what jazzes you, then you are free to try something else until we find the spot where you are happy to be serving!

Adult Connections

Do you have a desire to help adults discover their unique design?  Would you have an interest in helping people take their next steps in walking with Christ?  Check out some of the Adult Connections opportunities.

Campus Support and Resources

Would you like to be a part of caring for the Grace facility?  Check out some of the available opportunities.

Children

Does the idea of helping children discover they matter to God excite you?  Or maybe the thought of playing with kids and being a part of their lives makes you a kid at heart. Check out Grace Place for Kids.

Communications

Are you a person who likes to write?  Are you an editor at heart? Maybe you like to create graphics using Photoshop or have experience with web design.  The Grace Communications team is looking for people like you.

Guest Services and Hospitality

Do you believe that first impressions can be a make or break in reaching people for Christ?  That creating an accepting, inviting and safe environment is a must?  So do we!

Local Outreach

Are you interested in impacting the lives of others in the greater Kansas City area?  Opportunities exist for you to be a part of a local outreach team feeding the poor and homeless.

Office Administration

Do you have technical skills and office experience?  We love you!  Check out the opportunities to serve in the office at Grace Church.

Small Groups

This is a major connecting point for the Grace community. There are always opportunities for people to help lead groups, host groups or support the Small Groups ministry administratively.

Sports

The Grace Sports Ministry is always looking for people who enjoy coaching, reffing or even scorekeeping. Seasonal opportunities exist for this volunteering opportunity.

Weekend Service Team

Do you have talents in media production?  Or a burning desire to help make church happen every Sunday?  Ever want to be a part of a drama or skit?  The Grace Weekend Service Team is a great place to explore those talents and abilities.

Youth

Are you interested in helping middle school or high school age students connect with God?  Check out the youth ministry at Grace.
