Summer Activities
Summer Camp - June 11th thru 15th – HSM and MSM – Cost $325
Summer camp is a crucial part of our Student Ministries. It's a time where our youth group grows closer together and closer to God through focused teaching, a healthy dose of fun, and intentional relationship building. For a lot of students, camp is the highlight of the year as they step away from the busyness of life, unplug from the noise of the many things that we surround ourselves with, and have a chance to connect with God and friends.
For Summer Camp 2012 our Student Ministries has taken over Logan Valley Retreat Center in Ellington, MO and will be joined by worship band A.W.A.M. inspiring and relevant biblical teaching, games and recreation, a float trip down the beautiful Current River and MORE!
Mission Trip: Haiti - June 23rd thru 30th H.S. & M.S.(accompanied by an adult) - Cost $1,500 (Passport & Travel Insurance Required, not included in this price)
Our Student Ministries has partnered with Mission of Hope: Haiti mohhaiti.org to put together a mission experience that will blow your teen away. It's often been said that the mission trip is more about the work the Lord is doing in the missionary's heart, than the work the missionary is doing. Haiti will set the stage for God to do a life changing work for all who attend, as we minister to Haitian orphans, help with home building projects, and participate in evangelism outings. This trip is open to high school students and their families as well as middle school students who are joined by a parent.
$250 deposit due January 25. Register here. Balance due May 21.
Mission Trip: Joplin - July 8th thru 14th - HSM and MSM – Cost $335
Join HSM and MSM as we focus our days on work projects helping the people of Joplin rebuild from the tornadoes that devastated their community. This mostly work project oriented mission trip will also offer opportunities to encourage and pray with the families we help to rebuild. This trip is open to high school and middle school students and their parents. Register here.
ReEntry: - August 5th thru 7th – HSM and MSM – Cost $65
ReEntry 2011 was insane but just when you thought it couldn't get any better…we've figured out a way to raise the bar again! Meaning, ReEntry 2012 is going to BLOW your mind.
