Elementary Camp 2010
Elementary Camp - 3rd thru 5th grade, fall '10
Prepare your 3rd through 5th graders (Fall 2010 ) for - “Spy Camp.” In the midst of our secret agent training – crazy group games, water fun, night strike, skits, decoding, laser tag - our kids will learn about their true identity in Christ. Using the Bible – our ultimate decoder book to life - we will learn the importance of good friendships, tools to deal with peer pressure, and how to believe God when you feel outnumbered .
Spy Camp will take place at the church and weather permitting, we will sleep outside in tents. Campers will be placed in tent groups by gender and grade. T ent leaders will guide the spies-in-training throughout the two and a half days of our thrilling spy camp.
An initial spy orientation for the family is scheduled Wednesday, July 7th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. At this time the kids check- in, meet their tent leaders, and get an overview of the next couple of days. Campers return for the official start of Camp on Thursday, July 8th at 9:00 am. Our final debriefing and awards ceremony will end at 11:00 am on July 10th. The family is welcome to attend the awards ceremony.
The $65 registration fee per child covers the costs of food, entry fees into the Gardner Aquatic center and Advanced Laser Tag, a t-shirt, and other onsite activities . The registration form lists a variety of ways parents can get involved in Spy Camp. Your involvement allows us to keep the cost of camp low. We would also just love to have parents join our volunteer team and be a part of this exhilarating camp.
