At Grace Church, we believe the church was called by God to minister to those in need, not only around the globe, but also right in our own backyard. Throughout the year Grace supports various organizations in our community which creates opportunities for you to get involved. Here are some local organizations that Grace partners with in ministering to the Kansas City community:
Hope Faith
Hope Faith Family Serve Day. Second Saturdays of every month. Hope Faith Ministries is a faith-based ministry that serves the needs of the homeless and less fortunate in Kansas City. Come see for yourself how we are ministering to those in our own backyard. Please observe the dress code of sleeved shirts (no tank tops), pants and closed toed shoes. Ages 5 and up welcome to participate. Meet at Grace at 8:15 to caravan down. Second Saturdays, 9am-2pm.
HopeFaith Ministries is a non-profit - 501(c)(3), non-denominational, faith-based ministry that serves the needs of the homeless and less fortunate in Kansas City, Missouri. www.hopefaithministries.org
Freedom Fire
Freedom Fire Urban Ministries is a Christian missions organization with offices located in the heart of the community at 13th and Brooklyn, dedicated to strengthening the young people of the inner city by equipping them to guide the community spiritually, economically, and socially. www.freedomfire.org
F4 (Freedom Fire Fun Fridays)
Freedom Fire meets the fourth Friday of every month. Either meet directly at Freedom Fire (2111 East 13th Street, KCMO) or carpool from the 888 Asian Market located on the northwest corner of 119th St and Hwy 69 promptly at 5:45pm. Have fun playing with kids, helping serve food, and minister the love of Jesus!
Please Note: In observance of Memorial Day, F4 will take plan on the third Friday for the month of May 2012 (Friday, May 18).

Heartland Habitat for Humanity
Founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller, Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. The organization has built and renovated over 200,000 houses worldwide since 1976. www.heartlandhabitat.org

Kansas City Rescue Mission
We believe that the love of Jesus Christ can change lives. We see it happen here every day. Good food, safe shelter, comfortable beds, clean facilities. Advice & Aid Pregnancy Centers
We promote chastity for single women and fidelity for those who are married. We work with community organizations to meet our clients' needs and accept referrals from them as well. Our educational efforts extend to the community through churches, schools, and informal settings. Our impact on women, families, and the community goes beyond what can be seen or measured, and counts for eternity.
